17 projects recommended by Joint Monitoring Committee for financing

On 7 December 2018 the Programme’s Joint Monitoring Committee (JMC) made decisions on all 22 project full application forms submitted within 1st and 2nd call for proposals.

Altogether 17 projects were recommended for financing by the JMC. All lead beneficiaries will receive the JMC decision via an official letter from the Managing Authority till mid-January 2019.

Within the Programme Thematic Objectives the projects were distributed as follows.

Four projects have been recommended for financing under Priority 1.1 Promotion of and support to entrepreneurship:

  • LV-RU-009 From Hobby to Business
  • LV-RU-010 Not just books
  • LV-RU-020 SMEPRO
  • LV-RU-022 EWA

Five projects have been recommended for financing under Priority 1.2 Development and promotion of new products and services based on local resources:

  • LV-RU-006 Greenways Riga-Pskov
  • LV-RU-008 Versts of Feelings
  • LV-RU-018 Crafts
  • LV-RU-029 Following ideas
  • LV-RU-052 RUNRARO

Seven projects have been recommended for financing under Priority 2.1 Efficient management of nature objects:

  • LV-RU-016 Green Towers
  • LV-RU-017 Sticky urban areas
  • LV-RU-019 Spirit of Nature
  • LV-RU-021 Shaping Cities
  • LV-RU-023 Parks without borders
  • LV-RU-030 NATTOUR
  • LV-RU-040 NewLINE

And one project has been recommended for financing under Priority 2.2 Joint actions in environmental management:

  • LV-RU-053 GreenPalette

Four projects LV-RU-011 AgroNet, LV-RU-026 Traditional craftmanship marketing, LV-RU-031 NaTe and LV-RU-054 Aquakeeper were not recommended by the JMC for financing. And one project LV-RU-014 Business VS Culture was included in the JMC reserve list due insufficient financing.

The official letter from the Managing Authority will also contain the information on further steps and processes to follow.
