Moving towards next programme for 2021-2027

On 5 February 2021, the members of Latvia-Russia Task Force for the new programming period 2021-2027 met online to discuss perhaps the most exciting part of the neighborhood cooperation – the topical areas where the Programme support is especially needed to enhance the development of the cross-border communities.

The findings of the last-year online survey among cross-border cooperation experts and stakeholders were presented to the Task Force by the specialists working on the Programme area socio-economic analysis, which creates a solid and coherent foundation for the new Programme.

We would like to express our sincere gratitude to all participants who held in-depth and focused discussions to create a comprehensive map of all needs and interests over the Programme area.

The dialogue is to be continued, but already now we are sure to confirm the genuine and well-balanced interest of the CBC community to continue working together in the pursuit of the best solutions to local challenges.
