“Green Towers” grant contract has been signed

On 15 October, 2019, the Managing Authority of Latvia-Russia CBC Programme and Rujiena Town Council signed the grant contract to implement the project “Development of sustainable green infrastructure and attractive recreation zones in the nature” (Green Towers).

The key project goals are to introduce innovative clean technologies into urban and nature environment, to contribute to effective environmental management, to draw the attention of stakeholders and influencers to climate policy issues and to develop the green thinking.

The total budget of the project approaches to 700 thousand EUR, including Programme co-financing of almost 630 thousand EUR.
