PskovSU has implemented more than 30 international projects for the period of 5 years, including projects within the CBC programmes: Potentials Tartu, Rezekne, Pskov: Green Management for Urban Development & Planning in EE-LV-RU Border Capitals (GREENMAN), Euro-Faculty-Pskov (Council of the Baltic Sea States), European-Russian Academic Network and European-Russian Academic Network – Plus (Erasmus +), Green Growth Arena (Nordic Council of Ministers), Environmental Governance for Environmental Curricula (TEMPUS) etc.

Training in the field of business, consalting on entrepreneurship issues, cooperation

Objective: Development of Latvia-Russia SME cross-border cooperation platform with the following opportunities: on-line SME fair for products and services, normative framework for export-import operations specific for Russia-Latvia economic relation; consultations on SME on foreign trade; seminars and workshops for SMEs in rural areas of Latvia and Russia with the aim of their integration and joint projects development.

Outcome: functioning Latvia-Russia SME cross-border cooperation platform the idea of which is to aggregate theoretical basis (i.e. the toolkit developed within the project), practical recommendations and project ideas for cross-border cooperation between Latvia and Russia and provide opportunities supporting not only B2B cooperation, but collaboration between different target groups and key actors on various levels.

The project enables municipalities, local and regional stakeholders to develop in a cooperative, integrated and sustainable way. Thus, the project makes municipalities and regions more competitive for the future to maintain and enhance the common existing identity in Latvia, Russia and the Baltic Sea Region on the whole.
