The call for proposals to be opened in June

During the Programme launch event on 24 November 2016 in Daugavpils, an indicative timeline of the 1st call for proposals was presented that pointed out March as a potential time for launching the call. However, due to proposed changes in the application procedure, the opening of the call is postponed to June.

The projects will be selected for funding in a two-step application procedure, instead of previously foreseen one-step application procedure. Applicants will be invited to first submit a concept note (a summary of a project proposal) only. The decision on approved concept notes will be made indicatively in January 2018 and according to the assessment results, shortlisted applicants will be invited to prepare and submit full application forms. It is foreseen that indicatively the project implementation will start at the end of 2018.

Currently all relevant documents are being adjusted to the new application procedure. The concept note, full application form, Guidelines for Grant Applicants and other documents will be made available on the Programme website after approval of the Joint Monitoring Committee.

Concept notes can only be submitted after the official announcement of the opening of the call for proposals is published on the Programme website.
