Following the Russian military aggression against Ukraine the European Commission has suspended the cooperation with Russia in the European Neighbourhood Instrument cross-border cooperation programmes (ENI), including cooperation within Latvia-Russia Cross-border Cooperation Programme 2014-2020 (Programme). Due to the Russian invasion of Ukraine, based on recommendations received from the European Commission, the Managing Authority of the Latvia-Russia Cross Border Cooperation Programme for 2014-2020 has suspended all payments (advance and interim) to the Russian beneficiaries.
